A couple months ago, a friend saw Mang on the Food Network, but did not know which show he was on. After some research on the internets, we discovered it was Bobby Flay’s Throwdown: The Dumplings Episode in Red Hook Brooklyn. Mang is shown at the beginning of the episode as the narrator gives a brief rundown of the neighborhood.
You can see this Mang at the piers near the Fairway. He’s on a round, black anchor, which I assume was used for docking boats, saying, “Red Hook in my Dreams”.
